This surgery is aimed to reduce the size of labia minora (inner lips of the vulva) so they don't protrude beyond the Labia majora (outer lips of the vulva)

Women have this procedure because of acute self-consciousnesses about protruding labia.

Doctor Moore performs a one-hour operation that involves cutting back the labia minora so they are not visible when a patient stands with her legs astride.

Dr Moore presently performs this operation on approximately 12 patients per year.

Temporary swelling, bruising and bleeding after the operation lasting no more than 10 days.

NO smoking for 2 weeks before surgery and for 6 months after surgery.

We hope this brief information answers some of the more important questions. Dr Moore will answer any other questions at your consultation.
