The S-Lift Plus incorporates the basic S-Lift with the addition of slightly more skin undermining (but nowhere as much as with a traditional facelift), to allow SMAS tightening in one more additional plane to help deal with the laugh lines on either side of the nose. Also a liposuction of the neck and an extension of the incision into the hairline (temporal area) allows results in the neck, jaw line and mid 1/3 of the face, hitherto only achievable with the extensive dissection associated with a conventional facelift, with its much longer down time, swelling, bruising and risk of complications.
